Press Release Author: http://www.healthcareseeker.com

Industry: Healthcare

Press Release Summary: there are people who have traveled for several years in a row
but the majority of Travelers will do a Travel assignment for a while, go back home
for a per diem job, go back into another Travel position elsewhere and then maybe
take a full time job for a while, then go back to Traveling.

Press Release Body: There seems to be as many reasons for why a Nurse decides to
Travel as there are colors in nature. Our recruiters always ask \" why are you
looking to travel to that area\" so we really know our Travelers motivations. Some
Travelers travel to an area because they have a family member that they want to
spend more time with, some Travel because they always wanted to go to an area, some
Travel because they have decided to retire from a full time nursing position, others
Travel because they want to start over from a divorce, job, etc. Many Travel because
they can make more money or work only half of the year because of the extra money.

Are there career Travelers?
Yes, there are people who have traveled for several years in a row but the majority
of Travelers will do a Travel assignment for a while, go back home for a per diem
job, go back into another Travel position elsewhere and then maybe take a full time
job for a while, then go back to Traveling. When the economy is doing well we often
see more Travelers and when the economy is bad, Travelers will stay put. This may
also happen due to Hospitals census and staffing demands. The key is to know why you
want to Travel and to communicate that to your recruiter.
